Tap Dancer Audition for ASO's Holiday Concert

CALLING ALL TAP DANCERS! Check out the great audition opportunity below! The Untapped Company Members will be there!

The Arkansas Symphony Orchestra and Nicole Capri, LLC will hold auditions for The Arkansas Symphony’s 2016 HOME FOR THE HOLIDAY CONCERT. The concert will be the first production to take place in the newly renovated Robinson Auditorium Music Hall at Markham and Broadway.

Advanced trained tap dancers five-feet tall and up will audition on Friday, September 30th from 6:30 – 8:00 pm. Younger tap dancers under five-feet tall will audition from 4:30 to 6:00 pm. Please dress appropriately and be prepared to remain the entire time.

Individual auditions for vocalists and actors will be scheduled via email for Saturday, October 1st between 10:00 am and 3:00 pm. Vocal candidates should prepare 16 bars of a song - preferably a selection from the 1940's era or a holiday song. An accompanist will be provided. Those auditioning for acting roles are asked to prepare a one-minute comedic monologue.

All auditions will be held at Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church located at 4823 Woodlawn Drive, Little Rock in Hillcrest. Please arrive at least fifteen minutes prior to auditions to fill out paperwork and bring a recent headshot or snapshot. Photos will not be returned.

Audition appointments will be scheduled and confirmed via email only.

Those auditioning will be notified of casting within two weeks. Performance dates are December 16th – 18th and rehearsals will begin in mid-to-late November. A tentative rehearsal calendar will be provided at auditions. For more information visit www.arkansassymphony.org
